Excelerate's President
(Kimberly Gerber) |
As a rising corporate star
for 17 years at such companies as Starbucks and Fleetwood
Enterprises, Kimberly Gerber developed and honed an entrepreneurial
drive and service ethic that has fueled a remarkable career.
A fast paced executive track in Fortune-500 companies served
Gerber well when in 2002 she founded Excelerate, Inc. a management
consulting firm that specializes in performance enhancement
through a unique combination of strategy, training and coaching.
Excelerate’s primary business is the
cultivation of leadership and productivity at every level
of the organization. Working not only with senior executives,
Excelerate has applied her unique model, including coaching
which is typically reserved for senior executives, to emerging
leaders, mid-level management and sales professionals.

The Excelerate training philosophy affirms
and acts on the belief that genuine leadership is cultivated
through developing one’s own natural talents and gaining
personal confidence. Talent development requires guidance
and the access to experts who can build upon one’s
prior experiences and execute plans that will achieve greater
professional and personal success in the future. Through
this process Gerber and the Excelerate team are able to
revitalize managers and leaders, sharpening their strategic
focus while reinvigorating an enthusiasm they possessed
when starting their careers.
Gerber takes her performance enhancement
philosophies beyond the office setting and out into the
community. She is on the board of the National Association
of Business Women Owners and mentors young professionals.
Gerber also helps young adults in an emancipation program
through Mariner’s Church, where she assists foster
teens with such issues as autonomy and wise life choices.
As a positive role model, she demonstrates the power and
joy in not only economic independence, but the healthy balance
of both career and personal life.
Gerber holds a BA degree in Marketing and
Public Communication from SUNY Buffalo. She has completed
graduate studies at San Diego State University, participated
in CCL Leadership Track and is a graduate of Newfield, an
